The Big Runaround - FAQs

Q: Do I need to be a seasoned runner?

A: Absolutely not! The great thing about the Big Runaround is that it's open to all abilities. Whether you're looking to complete your first 1km run or you're aiming for a full marathon, this is all about setting your own challenge and working towards that.

Q: Is there a minimum distance?

A: No. You can run as little or as much as you'd like. Pick your own goal and start training today.

Q: Does it have to be an organised run I take part in?

A: No. We know that some people really enjoy taking part in organised events and others prefer to simple clock up the miles on solo runs. So whether you want to register to run an official race, such as the Stirling Half Marathon, or you just want to set your own distance to complete, it's all part of the Big Runaround.

Q: Do you have charitable places in any of the official (Half) Marathons races?

A: We do not have charity places purchased for any of the major races. If you find a race you would like to take part in to raise money for Sistema Scotland (thank you!), please simply register yourself a place and then get in touch with us directly to let us know you're fundraising for us.

Q: How do I send my sponsorship to Sistema Scotland?

A:You can collect online donation via our Big Runaround JustGiving page; set up a personal Fundraising Page on JustGiving; collect sponsorship directly and then send us via cheque or bank transfer. For more information, please do get in touch.
