We are adapting our Big Noise programmes on an ongoing basis in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and its accompanying restrictions, combining online delivery with in-person sessions where possible (following full Scottish Government and local authority guidelines).

Sistema Scotland’s mission is to transform lives through music. We work with 2,800 children and young people across our four Big Noise orchestral programmes: Big Noise Raploch in Stirling; Big Noise Govanhill in Glasgow; Big Noise Torry in Aberdeen; and Big Noise Douglas in Dundee. Independent evaluation by the Glasgow Centre for Population Health has shown that Big Noise fosters confidence, develops teamwork, builds resilience and promotes aspiration in the children and young people who take part.

Become a Big Friend of Big Noise!

Join us and transform lives and communities through music. Your monthly donation will enable us to plan for the future. Over the course of a year your support could do the following:

Per month can provide healthy snacks for a child in Big Noise for a year.

Per month can buy a child a cello to start on their musical journey.

Per month can support an inspirational staff musician working to transform lives each day.

Or another monthly amount...

Help a Big Noise child to reach their potential!

Make a one-off donation to help transform lives and communities through music. Your help could do the following:

Can provide a set of paper instruments to introduce children to their instrument and encourage responsibility.

Can pay for an orchestra rehearsal, building confidence and developing teamwork.
