André moved to Aberdeen in 2016 to continue his music studies at NESCOL and further on at UOA having graduated from the university in 2022.

André’s main instrument is the drum kit which he explored as many music styles as he could possibly study and understand but, his musical education was heavily influenced by the language of Jazz and, has been using that same language in his teachings.

André believes that music teachings are great ways to teach young people how to be creative and have fun at the same time by making their world more colourful and filled with life.

When not teaching, André performs at weddings with function bands and performs in his own musical projects.
