introduce woodwind, brass and percussion. Get in touch by emailing
george.anderson@sistemascotland.org.uk if you have a trumpet, euphonium,
tuba, trombone, horn, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon or percussion
instrument in good condition. We promise to put them to good use.
BIG NOISE - THE BIG PICTURE
To celebrate the Big Noise Orchestra's birthday, we printed a booklet of photographs which were distributed in the community. The pictures told the story of year one in the life of the UK's first Sistema Orchestra. You can download a pdf of the booklet by clicking here.
Sistema Scotland Chairman Dr Richard Holloway gave the Anglo-Venezuala Society's annual Bolivar Lecture at the Palace of Westminster on June 9. A full transcript of the speech entitled How the Children of Venezuela are Teaching Scotland How To Play can be viewed at the Society's website.
Big Noise has recorded a mobile phone ringtone available from the iTunes music store in the UK. It costs 79p to download the track, from which Sistema Scotland receives a royalty of 49p. The Sistema Scotland Ringtone will be available from various mobile content suppliers and online stores such as Napster, O2, HMV Digital, MusicNet, Tune Tribe, and eMusic.
